As bus drivers, custodians, secretaries, food service workers, maintenance workers, monitors, mechanics, computer technicians and other classified employees, we are the caretakers of Washingtonville Central School District. We care about our students and are dedicated to creating a better learning environment.

As unit officers, we pledge to...

1. Create a committee with representatives from EVERY department our unit represents to help EVERYONE voice their needs during contract negotiations.

2. Work to repair strained relationships with Administration and we will also work hard to bring our members back to THEIR union.

3. Send all building representatives to shop steward and disciplinary/grievances courses so every building has someone available to them in THEIR time of need.

4. Treat every person or issue with extreme CONFIDENTIALITY .

5. Have at least four General Membership Meetings per year to keep our members informed and to get THEIR interest back in THEIR union.

6. Keep this web site up to date with timely information for our members and a place for members to easily contact us with their feedback and ideas.
